Venetian glass is considered the best in the world, they have been creating beautiful objects since the 13th century.   This a single strand of hand made Venetian glass beads, which are slightly irregular in shape.  The external casing of the bead is clear but there are shades of red, green, blue and white along with adventurine swirling around inside. The beads have recently been restrung on their original screw clasp. Measures approx. 43cm, the largest beads measures approx. 1.5cm
