This is a very striking silk scarf by Lanvin, Paris, probably dating back to the 1970’s.  The bright, bold design is a little more muted in reality, the background colour is navy blue.  The edges have been rolled and hand stitched.  Measures approx. 74cm.  The scarf is in fantastic condition, but I did notice one very small mark (possibly from a brooch pin) on one edge of the border, but one does have to look very closely to see it.
